Lindsey Allen is a PhD candidate in the department of Teaching Learning and Policy Leadership within the College of Education at The University of Maryland, College Park. As a critical qualitative researcher, they study teacher education and language education. Lindsey holds a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the College of Wooster, as well as a Masters' degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. They have worked as a middle school inclusion teacher and teacher mentor in Boston and Washington DC.
