$2.5 Million Federal Grant Awarded to Project Featuring Jade Wexler and Veronica Kang

The University of Maryland and Vanderbilt University have received a $2.5 million federal grant to fund Project Sustain, a four-year program developing future leaders in special education. MILE's Associate Director for Research, Jade Wexler, and Vanderbilt’s Jason Chow, a former UMD faculty member, will serve as principal investigators. Assistant Professor Veronica Kang, a MILE team member, will serve as co-principal investigator and co-director of Project Sustain.
